OUR HERITAGE, YOUR FUTURE

OVERVIEW

The Hiram Edson Farm Visitor Center Dedication

You can almost sense the smell of hay in the barn or picture the cornfield on the Edson farm as you recall the significance of this location and historic setting. Hiram Edson, an Advent believer, reached out to comfort and encourage others reeling in the shock of the "Great Disappointment." Trudging across the fields, Hiram's heart and mind were drawn to Scriptures holding the answer to the 1844 mystery. Edson is credited with shaping what has come to be known as the "Sanctuary Doctrine" of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Listen to experience the events that took place at the Hiram Edson Farm Visitor Center Dedication, located in Clifton Springs, New York--bringing the history of the Seventh-day Adventist church to life.
