P. Gerard Damsteegt, ThD, MDiv, MPH, BA has served as Associate Professor of Church History at Andrews University Theological Seminary in Berrien Springs, MI. He also has a Certificate of Aeronautical Engineering, School of Aeronautics, The Hague. He is a member of Adventist Society for Religious Studies, Adventist Theological Society, American Dietetic Society, American Society of Missiology, American Society of Church History, Evangelical Theological Society, Honorary membership in the Delta Omega Public Health Society, Seventh-day Adventist Dietetic Association and Society of Bible Literature. Dr. Damsteegt has written numerous books including: FOUNDATIONS OF THE SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST MESSAGE AND MISSION.
