SERIES INFO

1) INTRODUCTION
Healthy hearts and running go together. Do you run to follow God’s commandments? What greater workout can we give our inner world than to run in the path of God’s commands.

2) NOBODY BUT YOU
You shall have no other gods before me. “I am all to you. I want you all to Myself,” He declares. Can you imagine what our hearts would be like if God were this kind of center of our lives?

3) HUGGING MANNEQUINS
God does not believe in images–He is alive and free. And He refuses to stereotype us–we are a living image of a living God.

4) “R” FOR STRONG LANGUAGE
Words have power and inappropriate language can render us R-rated people. Rather than taking the Lord’s name in vain, we’re invited to take it for all its worth! His name saves when we call on it, and His name will be on our forehead throughout eternity.

5) TAKE MY TIME
The Sabbath–time to be with Him, time to work for Him, time to be with others, time to serve others, time to give Him my time–every moment of it.

6) DON’T LAUGH AT ME!
When God is the center of my life, I will look upon those two through whom I received life with honor and respect. Why? Because they are His agents of life to me. How I receive them reflects how I receive Him.

7) LIFE GUARDING
God’s sixth way to run calls us to value life, to guard it, to nurture it. Jesus spent His whole life on earth telling and showing us what it means to spread life instead of death.

8) SEX AND THE CITY AND EVERYWHERE ELSE
Sex has enough combustive force to incinerate conscience, vows, family commitments, religious devotion, and anything else in its path. God’s profound call to commitment keeping and sexual integrity is something everyone of us needs to hear.

9) THE REAL STEAL?
Discover what it means to steal, and a thousand ways we might wittingly or unwittingly be doing so. In the process we hear God’s call to a level of integrity we may have never imagined.

10) FEATHERS IN THE WIND
Two of the six things God dislikes the most are a lying tongue and a lying witness. What is lying? Is there such a thing as permissible untruth? Can we justify white lies? What about gossip?

11) WHEN ALL YOU EVER WANTED IS NOT ENOUGH
It can seem so harmless to covet. But it connects us with what God has given others and unmasks our dissatisfaction with His provision for us. Listen for the summons to look into our own hearts and inner inclinations.

12) ENLARGE MY HEART, LORD
“Enlarge my heart, Lord. Enlarge my heart,” is the only response that enables all that God has in mind for us to become a reality in our everyday lives.
