OVERVIEW

We have now come to the last days when Satan will work with increasing power because he knows that his time is short. At the same time there will come to us through the gifts of the Holy Spirit, diversities of operations in the outpouring of the Spirit. This is the time of the latter rain.—Letter 230, 1908.
Ask ye of the Lord rain in the time of the latter rain; so the Lord shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field. Zechariah 10:1. { UL 283.1}
The latter rain will come, and the blessing of God will fill every soul that is purified from every defilement. It is our work today to yield our souls to Christ, that we may be fitted for the time of refreshing from the presence of the Lord—fitted for the baptism of the Holy Spirit.—Selected Messages 1:191 (1892). { LDE 193.1}

1. The Holy Spirit
Find the answers to these questions in this presentation through the study of the Bible and the Spirit of Prophecy:
Is the Holy Spririt a personal being or an impersonal force?
is the Holy Spirit a divine member of the Godhead?
What are the implications in rejecting Him as a personal and divine being?

2. What Are We Waiting For?
Warning: Only “A small number of those now professing to believe the truth would eventually be saved–not because they could not be saved, but because they would not be saved in God’s own appointed way.” 2T 445  We are told that many have failed to receive the former rain and they expect the latter rain to supply the lack–this is a terrible mistake. If we do not receive both the former and the latter rain, we shall lose our souls. (See TM 507, 508)

3. Who is the Greatest?
There are lessons for us to personally learn that may be a hindrance in our receiving the former and latter rain. Consider the disciples of Jesus’ experience in their dispute with one another as to who was the greatest. Learn what constitutes real greatness in God’s eyes by studying the principle of love vs selfishness.

What is the possible aid or hindrance for the Holy Spirit to reproduce Christ in our lives.  In this presentation, you will find the answer to the question,”Does God really care what I wear” to be his representative and ambassador?

5. Another Ark to Build
It is time to focus on our families and the nearness of Christ’s coming when our world is about to be destroyed, not by water but by fire. This is a good time to remember how Noah prepared an ark for the deliverance of his family in detailed obedience to God. “Come though and all thy house into the ark.” Genesis 1:7
