OVERVIEW
"When ye shall see the abomination of desolation spoken by Daniel the prophet . . . Then let them" do something to escape the danger they see coming is Jesus' warning in Matt. 24:15,16.
The book of Daniel has two different genres: the prophetic and the stories. The focus in this series is on the stories--six which reveal characteristics we are to seek to emulate and two that reveal personal characterics we are to seek to avoid as the prophecies are being fulfilled. The Spirit uses the characters in these stories to illustrate conditions through which the saints will pass at the end of the age.
